Collectif Pacy Green Velvet Dress

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great Christmas!

I’m stopping in to review this wonderful dress I bought specifically for Christmas Day in the last collectif pre-order.
It’s the Collectif Mainline Pacy mid dress in a 20.
I’m in love! I adore velvet, and the good thing is that this velvet is mid-weight so I didn’t sweat it out in my velvet dress during an Aussie summers day!
The length is amazing. I’m a tall person, and this is a mid-calf length on me. Probably closer to ankle length on most people haha.
The size is spot on for collectif. I’m usually a 2xl in a hell bunny so this is pretty consistent for me.
The material is soft and stretchy. Drapes really well. Has ample space for a petticoat if you want the extra poof. IT HAS POCKETS!!! It also has adjustable straps but they are the most poorly designed adjustable straps in the world- velvet doesn’t glide easily so you’ll have to persist carefully so you don’t bunch the strap awkwardly when adjusting.
In saying that though, that’s a pretty minor criticism for such an amazing dress.
The fit was amazing. It’s very Christmassy but I’d wear it for other special events too
