Hell Bunny BB 50's Dress

So today I’m showing you the 3 things I purchased in a recent Hell Bunny pre-order.

First is that gorgeous dress that Kim has already reviewed. It is stunning and I love that it has plenty of structure in the bodice, whilst at the same time having enough give to keep it super comfy.

The skirt is lined so does have a little fluff to it and this was just a try on when it arrived, no correct underwear, petticoat etc. I can’t wait to wear out.

I’m 164.5cm tall and it sits mid calf.

This is my standard HB 4X in dresses.

The other 2 pieces were choose your own. The skirt I have been wanting for ages in a yellow tartan, but I could never find one that fit my aesthetic. I wanted ‘Clueless’ vibes but with a vintage aesthetic and this totally gives me that!

The material is thicker, heavier weight so will be perfect for Autumn and Winter outfits. I own all 3 colours of the Spiros turtle necks and can totally see them and boots and a little cropped fitted blazer working this brilliantly for when I go back into the office.

I’m also loving that HB are extending sizes. Whilst the 4X is always perfect on me in the style of dresses that suit my shape, the skirts are always tight on the waist band. I have a very thick waist, and if I’m having a day where I’m even slightly bloated, the 4 is going to cut into me or I have to wear it up on my high waist, which then adds too much flounce. I got this in the 5X and it it did the trick of sitting on my low waist, without any pressure. I figure on days I’m not bloated I can add a belt to add firmness if needed. Length wise it is mid calf on me.

The last piece is this cute as all knit top! Now this is where I size down in HB and this is actually a 3X.

Being knit it is lovely and stretchy and it is beautifully soft. I love the little button at the throat. It sits really comfortably on me, but also looks cute open if you prefer to just have a little v-neck and collar. I’m wearing that today with my go to skirt from Steady clothing, also bought from Kitty Deluxe what feels like a millennia ago!
