Today I’m reviewing the very cute Halliday dress in Ditzy Daisy print from Lady Vintage and the white Mac short sleeved cardi.

As always Kitty Deluxe’s service is amazing and the package was posted within 24hrs of me ordering. I’m not sure what their wizardry is with Aust Post but it also arrived the next day and it wasn’t even express!

What I love about buying from Kitty Deluxe, besides the amazing service and prices, is that they are fussy about ensuring the products they stock are not only size inclusive but also of really high quality.

Lady V is definitely one of those brands and I’ve never had a dress from them that wasn’t finished to perfection. This gorgeous dress has adjustable straps that are also elasticized. So not only can you make them as short as you need, the soft elastic means that a tight strap isn’t going to then dig into your shoulder.

I have rounded shoulders and struggle with straps staying up all the time, and if I make them tight enough to, they are usually tight and uncomfortable. With this dress I have no such issue due to those fabulous straps.

The bodice as you can see is fitted, with a structured waist. Whilst there is some stretch in the fabric, the waistband is fairly set. Depending on how low you like the neckline to sit and how long the straps to sit will depend on how it will cater to a larger bust. I’m only a B cup, so for me there is plenty of coverage. It’s not a super wide bodice at the front, so if you have a larger bust you may wish to size up to accommodate.

At 164cm tall the dress falls to the middle of my knees. It looks really long in this photo but it’s just the angle. So it would be considered a mini if you’re taller. I love the flared skirt though and waist permitting there is room for a short petticoat if you wanted the extra flounce.

At the moment I’m between sizes, especially when something has a really structured waist. I decided to order the UK20 rather than the UK22 I would currently go for and it is perfect. It’s firm in the waist, however still breathable, and the bodice gives me perfect coverage and is comfortable. The fabric type is the same as what is used in the Isabella and summer weight Estella dresses.

The MAK cardi we’ve all reviewed a number of times and know how fab they are. This is my usual 3X. I find it is the perfect size to wear open over these dresses. There is also plenty of room to not stretch it out if I want to button up.

Due to the white, green and yellow in the print I also have plenty of different Kitty Deluxe belts that look super cute with it as well if I want to add one.
