I’ve got my big fabulous, over the top fur trimmed hooded coat from last season, but what I didn’t have was a coat that could be worn a bit more casually. This baby fits the bill perfectly.

I’m in my standard HB 4X and it fits beautifully. I’m a little curvier this winter than last, and I’m a pretty standard AU 22/24 around the middle at the moment. This coat is the equivalent of an AU20 and was firm but still comfortable with a bulky jumper and jeans underneath.

Personally, when I wear this kind of coat I don’t need a jumper, especially as they are so snuggly being for the UK climate, so in my day to day wear it will actually be perfect with just a top underneath and give me a little more room.

The buttons are brilliant. They are really solid and well sewn on. The big fluffy collar is removable. I haven’t taken it off for the photos though as a) I’m useless and once it is off I’ll forget to put it back on, and b) when I’m in the office I have a 20 min walk to the train and then a 25 min train ride and another 10 min walk. All the walking manage to be along streets that are total wind tunnels. The collar like this helps to keep my neck and ears warm without the need to then add a hat or scarf.

The pattern and colours are super cute and as you can see in my photos it’s incredibly flattering shape done up, but also looks just as stylish undone. It also matches beautifully with my flamingo slippers!

Highly recommend this one as even non-preorder it is an excellent price for a high quality product.

NB please excuse the very tired no make up face and undone hair! I knew if I didn’t do this straight away I’d never get round to a review and the coat is totally worth it. Hmm can I justify having it in the blue as well?!
